तो चलिए अब हम जानते हैं NIMCET क्या होता है तो सबसे पहले हम समझ लेते हैं फुल फॉर्म (Full Form) क्या है NIMCET  का National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test है और यह परीक्षा नेशनल लेवल का है जो कंडक्ट (Conduct) करवाया जाता है NITs के दवारा और यह एग्जाम वह व्यक्ति देते हैं जो मास्टरिंग करना चाहते हैं कंप्यूटर एप्लीकेशन के अंदर जैसे कि एमसीए (MCA) Master of Computer Applications.
